Wright Le Chapelain was founded in London in 2017 by Imogen Wright and Vincent Le Chapelain, who met while studying at Central Saint Martins.

Born in Britain and France respectively, they draw on their different backgrounds to design pieces that are contemporary yet rooted in the everyday.

Since 2020 the label has worked almost entirely with upcycled clothing sourced from local charities. Each piece begins with an existing garment.
